HEROIC VITICULTURE
MOUNTAIN
IN THE NATIONAL PARK
OF THE SIBILLINI MOUNTAINS

COPPACCHIOLI
TATTINI

We are a small, niche agricultural winery founded in 2016 with the aim of honoring and enhancing the winemaking tradition of the inland Marche region, historically linked to the culture of the “shepherd’s wine.”
Our vineyard is the expression of a deep devotion to Cupi, a small hamlet in the municipality of Visso, in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains National Park. At 1,000 meters above sea level, we cultivate the highest vineyard in the Marche region and one of the highest in Italy.
Here, viticulture becomes truly heroic, in an unspoiled terroir of extraordinary natural complexity that gives each grape its unique identity and character. Our production follows a closed supply chain, made exclusively from grapes grown on our own land and carried out under extreme conditions, in a remote and hard-to-reach environment where every step—from vineyard to cellar—is performed with artisanal care and strictly by hand.

THE TRADITIONAL METHOD
Our vintage Traditional Method (Metodo Classico) sparkling wines are produced entirely by us through a closed supply chain. We personally oversee every step of the process by hand, including remuage, carried out bottle by bottle, and disgorgement performed in small batches of 100 bottles at a time.
Remuage—the operation that gradually gathers the sediment in the neck of the bottle—is an ancient technique involving the slow rotation of each bottle on its own axis. The remueur performs this action manually every day, several times a day, at precisely the right moment, to give the sparkling wine a fine, persistent, and delicate perlage.
Each bottle is fully hand-numbered, with a total production of approximately 2,000 bottles per varietal. Their ageing on the lees is, by our deliberate choice, between 20 months (for one of our more “explosive” limited editions) and over 60 months.
In addition, there is an extremely limited production of the Vissanello sparkling wine La Pecora Fuorigregge: just 100 bottles, with a unique character and a minimum of 7 years on the lees.

WHAT DOES “HEROIC VITICULTURE” MEAN?
Our winery operates within a high-altitude heroic viticulture context, in an area where pedoclimatic conditions require rigorous agronomic choices and a strongly hands-on approach to vineyard management. We are located in the highest vineyard in the Marche region, among the highest in Italy, in a mountain environment characterized by steep slopes, marked temperature variations, and constant ventilation.
The altitude and terrain morphology make any significant mechanization impossible: all vineyard operations—pruning, canopy management, and harvesting—are carried out entirely by hand, following traditional practices adapted to the needs of modern viticulture. This allows for precise control of each individual vine and a careful selection of grapes.
Production is intentionally limited, focused on quality rather than quantity. The vineyards are managed under certified organic farming, without the use of chemical herbicides, through sustainable soil management and careful protection of local biodiversity.
The result is a wine that directly expresses the extreme character of the territory, with well-defined aromatic profiles, high freshness, and a strong sense of identity. A winemaking project founded on technical expertise, environmental respect, and a deep connection to the land.
THE
TERRITORY

Cultivating here is not just agricultural work.
It is an act of love toward the mountains.
With deep respect for the nature that surrounds us, we work this high-altitude land to give voice once again to a farming culture that time has nearly forgotten. We are guardians of a fragile and magnificent landscape, one we wish to see reborn, regenerated, and able to breathe again.
Monte Tranquilla watches over our vineyard, embracing it and shielding it from cold winds, creating a unique microclimate kissed by the south-western sun. Here, across five hectares suspended between sky and earth, the vines grow surrounded by the wild scents of broom, thistles, mint, fennel, and wild roses.
Every sip of our wines tells the story of this place, carrying its soul, its light, and the aromas of the undergrowth. The Sibillini Mountains—among the most biodiverse areas in Europe—are our open-air herbarium, which we tend with gentle hands and full hearts.
OUR WINES
Our wines are born in Cupi, a hamlet of Visso, in the heart of the Sibillini Mountains, within a context of high-altitude heroic viticulture at approximately 1,000 meters above sea level. The mountain environment—characterized by marked temperature variations, rocky soils, and constant ventilation—requires a fully manual approach to vineyard management and results in limited production focused on quality.
We work every day to encourage the expression of authentic wines, deeply shaped by altitude and by the identity of the territory, from the highest vineyard in the Marche region.

WHERE THE VINE BREATHES
BIODIVERSITY
Here, where the landscape preserves an ancient memory and silence is an integral part of the natural balance, nature still follows its original rhythms. Amid spontaneous blooms, active pollinators, and an unspoiled mountain environment, our wine is born.
The vineyards are embedded within a complex and vibrant ecosystem, in constant dialogue with the forest, wildlife, and the cycle of the seasons. In the heart of the Sibillini Mountains National Park, we cultivate biodiversity before grapes, aware that each row of vines is part of a living, interconnected, and precious system.
It is from this deep balance that the identity of our wines takes shape.
The Wine Club is privileged access to the evolution of our wines and the territory that gives them life. A journey reserved for those who wish to follow, over time, the expression of altitude through exclusive selections and limited productions, not available through standard channels.
Membership includes rare vertical tastings of Primodicupi (currently offered in a box featuring the 2021, 2022, and 2023 vintages) and Alcinesco Chardonnay Riserva (2019—the very first vintage ever produced—2021, and 2022), alongside a special selection of limited-edition Traditional Method sparkling wines: Chardonnay Spumante, Pinot Noir Rosé Spumante, and Pecora Nelgregge Spumante.
An experience designed for those seeking depth, authenticity, and aging potential—meant to be lived over time, not just in the glass.
High-altitude wines, reserved for a few, one sip at a time.
